REGISTRATION FOR THE 2023-24 SEASON IS CLOSED

Financial Assistance

GYHA is committed to helping families who need assistance with registration fees. This assistance is not intended to cover full registration fees! The amount is not guaranteed but applicant can expect it to be one payment or less.

Eligibility: Financial assistance may be provided to applicants who meet the eligibility requirements which are established by the GYHA Board of Directors. Eligibility considerations include family size, annual income, and if you have received prior assistance and are considered when determining eligibility and the amount of any assistance provided. Eligibility may be limited to one per family. Not all applicants are guaranteed assistance. Prior disciplinary actions may also be considered.

Amount of Assistance: The amounts will be set by the GYHA Board of Directors based on the budget available and number of applicants.

Timing of Assistance: For those awarded financial assistance the awarded amount will be applied to the last payment. Account MUST be in good standing at the time of award disbursement or award will be forfeited.

Notification: Applications must be submitted by June 15th for consideration of the upcoming season. Applicants will be notified of the financial assistance award decisions via email after July 15th.

Registration Fees for the 2023-2024 Season

  • $800 ($850 on or after 7/1) - Mites (U8) 
  • $1165 ($1215 on or after 7/1) - Squirt (U10)
  • $1185 ($1235 on or after 7/1) - Peewee (U12)
  • $1240 ( $1290 on or after 7/1) - Bantam (U14)
  • $1265 ($1315 on or after 7/1) - Midget (U18)

What is Included?

For the Squirt (10U), PeeWee (12U), Bantam (14U), and Midget (18U) Levels:

  • Approximately 20-22 team practice sessions
  • Weekly association-wide "skills-and-drills" sessions
  • 14-18 regular season games
  • End-of-season playoff tournament
  • Home and Away game jerseys and socks

Tournaments!

Each team will have the opportunity to play in tournaments around Colorado! Players and families participate in various fundraising events to send our players to these tournaments and represent the Greeley Bears!

8U season consists of:

  • Home and away games (up to 4 each)
  • weekly on-ice practices
  • Jamborees (similar to older player tournments)
  • Season starts after October 1st
  • Home and Away game jerseys and socks
