The Greeley Stampede is holding open Tryouts

for the 2010-2011 Hockey Season

 
 
The Greeley Youth Hockey Association (GYHA) will hold open 2010-2011 season tryouts on August 14th at the Greeley Ice Haus, 900 8th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80631. Players are encouraged to show up at least 45 minutes before their scheduled ice time:
 
Saturday, August 14th
PeeWee            9:00 – 10:00 AM
Bantam             10:15 – 11:45 AM
Squirt              1:45 – 2:45 PM
Midget Minor     3:00 – 4:30 PM
Midget Major     4:45 – 6:15 PM
 
Players must register with USA Hockey for 2010-2011 (http://www.usahockeyregistration.com/) and must bring their confirmation number to tryouts. Participants should wear a jersey with a number on it. A $75 non-refundable tryout fee will be due at the tryouts.

ONLINE REGISTRATION
This year GYHA has proudly partnered with PointStreak to offer online registration services.  To register online, follow the link above and register for a new account.  Once you have created an account, you can add multiple players for tryout registration.  If you are paying in person (check or cash), please make sure you bring it with you to tryouts.
GYHA is proud to field competitive teams within the Denver North Hockey League (DNHL) and the Continental Divide Youth Hockey League (CDYHL). For more details about tryouts and teams, please visitwww.greeleyyouthhockey.org.

The fees for the season has been determined.
CDYHL
  • Squirts                   $995
  • Pee-Wees              $995
  • Bantams                $1200
  • Midget Minor          $1300
  • Midget Majors        $1500

DNHL

  • All Levels                      $750
About the Greeley Stampede:
The Greeley Stampede plays out of the City of Greeley Ice Haus, a world-class facility that is also home to the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Bears. Founded in 2007, GYHA promotes a philosophy of building strength of character both on and off the ice.
 
Greeley has taken an innovative approach in developing its hockey program with three tiers toward success. First, the City of Greeley's recreational program offers affordable 8 & Under developmental ice hockey. From there, players may advance to GYHA's more competitive Denver North Hockey League (DNHL) and Continental Divide Youth Hockey League (CDYHL), competing as the Greeley Stampede.
